Camprodon is a medieval village located in the mountain region of the Pyrenees that belongs to the Girona province, in Catalonia. This small village is known as the Emerald of the Pyrenees, it is a picturesque village at the confluence of the rivers Ter and Ritort. Camprodon is the native home to the Catalan composer Isaac Albanez and is one of Catalonia's most unspoiled Roman villages, with a rich cultural programme in the summer and skiing in nearby resorts in winter.
