Spain is one of the most beautiful countries in southern Europe, with its great historical monuments, narrow and cobbled streets, breathtaking landscapes, coasts and islands. To the north of Spain there are the bustling boulevards of Barcelona with its medieval Gothic quarter and outrageous architecture and the south there is Andalucía, home of flamenco, Moorish palaces and the famous Mezquita. Spain is also a country with a huge variety and quantity of rock climbing routes. You can find sport rock climbing routes as well as alpine climbing routes in the Pyrenees and in other mountain ranges such as Montserrat or the Sierra de Prades Mountains.
