Via ferrata Giuseppe Olivieri 2 photos
The Ferrata Giuseppe Olivieri begins at the foot of Punta Anna. The climb is not easy, as steep and exposed. At the top of Punta Anna (2731 m), we have the opportunity to interrupt the path, following the path that winds toward the west and leads to Rifugio Giussani. If you decide to pursue, instead, we will face un'ascesa diagonal at the end of which there is a crossroads: taking right, descend to the cable car station in the Sky Arrow-Ra Valles. Going to the left, however, there is still climbing towards the ridge leading to Tofana Middle. The crest offers two possibilities. If you do not want to follow the regular route to the west, you can opt for the so-called Variant Garlic, east, which is very short but very difficult. The degree of exposure, in fact, is very high. Finally, the ascent to Tofana Middle: rather lengthy, but not particularly difficult.
